Intermission: Frontier

A super cool old book

I bought this book called “On the Frontiers of Science: Strange Machines you can build” by G Harry Stine (published 1985) a couple years ago and it’s soooo cool. Basically a bunch of crazy devices like divining rods, along with a history of them and instructions for building them.

One of my favorites is the wish machine.
